Worcester Man Charged with Illegal Firearm and Ammunition Possession

BOSTON – A Worcester man was indicted yesterday in federal court in Worcester in connection with illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition. Barry Jumpp, 29, was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

On Jan. 7, 2021, law enforcement arrested Jumpp in Worcester on an unrelated warrant. During the arrest, Jumpp was found in possession of a 9 mm firearm and 14 rounds of ammunition. Jumpp is prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition due to a prior felony conviction.
